With a strong belief in accountability, he feels that delivering on promises is crucial for team success and client satisfaction.
Steve’s career began with an internship at Eric Mower & Associates in 1993, followed by a stint as a freelance designer and illustrator from 1994 to 1997. His professional journey took a significant step forward at Grayton Company, where he worked as a graphic designer and illustrator until 1999, focusing on brochure and sales collateral design, and technical illustrations for B2B marketing. In 1999, he joined Manzella Marketing, where he spent over two decades honing his skills in direct mail, outdoor, trade show, digital collateral development, logo and branding, art and creative direction, illustration, and video storyboard development.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design with a minor in fine art from the State University College of New York at Buffalo. He excels in listening to clients' needs, developing visual plans that perform well, and creating cohesive visual themes for campaigns. He is a proud recipient of a silver award for advertiser website illustrations from the Brainstorm Ad Club.
Outside of work, Steve is an active member of the Western New York Artists Group, with many of his paintings accepted into juried shows. He frequently donates art to "Art Off the Wall" events, with sales proceeds going to local charities. One of his passions is painting vintage race cars in motion, capturing their dynamic essence.
